The Handbell Choir plays numerous times during the year on Sundays and other special occasions.
The Junior Choir is open to all children of the parish. The Junior Choir sings at the 10:30 service numerous times during the year.
Rehearsals
All rehearsals are held in the choir room.
Adult Choir rehearses on Thursday evening from 7:30PM until 9PM.
Handbell Choir rehearses on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM.
The Junior Choir rehearses on Sunday morning after the 10:30 service for 30 minutes.
Participation in the music program of St. Andrew's is certainly a significant way to use our talents as we worship our Lord. Contact Charles Crutchfield for any further information regarding the music program at St. Andrew's,
The Altar Guild is a group of parishioners who serve on rotating teams to prepare the altar for celebrations of the Eucharist; among other things, work includes the changing of seasonal hangings, maintaining supplies used in worship, cleaning up after the service. If you are interested in serving contact Barbara Olah.
Lectors read the lessons from the Bible and lead the Prayers of the People during our services of worship. The Chalice Bearers serve the cup of wine during communion. If you would like to serve in either of these roles, please speak with Fr. Will or Martha Bowman.
The Acolytes provide majesty and dignity in their leadership role in our worship by carrying the cross and torches, and by serving at the preparation of the altar for Eucharist. Our acolyte practice will continue on the first Sunday of each month. We look forward to getting together for the practice time and for the pizza lunch in the Parish Hall. If you are interested in serving, contact Frank and Delores Kirkland or Lorrane Yeager who mentor our wonderful group of acolytes.
