Lay Communion Ministers
Our communion ministers take communion to folks who were not able to attend the worship service. They are trained and licensed by the Bishop to carry the Sacraments to others. They often enjoy having other members with them when they visit.
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild led by Barbara Olah is a group of parishioners who serve on rotating teams to prepare the altar for celebrations of the Eucharist. Work includes the changing of seasonal hangings, maintaining supplies used in worship, and cleaning up after the service. If you are interested in serving, contact the church.
Greeters and Ushers
The greeters and ushers are the first impression we all receive on Sunday morning. They make all feel welcomed and help new visitors find their way after the service to the coffee hour.
Lectors and Chalice Bearers
Lectors read the lessons from the Bible and lead the Prayers of the People during our services of worship. The Chalice Bearers serve the cup of wine during communion. If you are interested in serving, contact the church.
Heather Ward and Lorrane Yeager mentor our wonderful group of Acolytes. Acolytes provide majesty and dignity in their leadership role in our worship by carrying the cross and torches and by serving at the preparation of the altar for Eucharist. To check for acolyte schedules, see the schedule page.
